Key Account Manager – Singapore / South East Asia

 

Job description

With the growing demand for Italian consumer goods overseas, Coalition of Italian Manufacturers (Asia-Pacific) continues to grow at a fast pace and, to support this continued growth, we are looking for a Singapore-based or South East Asia-based Key Account Manager to work with retailers in the Asia-Pacific region and manage a portfolio of prestigious FMCG brands across a variety of product categories.

 

You should have first class customer acquisition skills and you will be at ease presenting to commercial directors and C-level executives, supported with a strong empathy and understanding of their business objectives.

 

You will be responsible for coordinating our network of partners while supporting the Singapore-based team during commercial campaigns across the region.

 

Key to success is having the right attitude, enthusiasm, ambition and a multitasking mindset. Ideally, you will have completed a degree in business administration, have a minimum of 3 years marketing, sales or advertising experience in a B2C company. A deep understanding of trade and retail business dynamics is paramount. Regional supply chain management experience within the FMCG industry would be an advantage. Flexibility to travel within Asia on a regular basis for B2B meetings will be a requirement when travel restrictions will be lifted.

Experience

  • Coordinating international shipment of consumer goods in adherence to country specific importation legislation.

  • Managing FMCG clients and developing new business as a ‘hybrid’ role.

  • Coordinating ATL and BTL activities.

  • Cross-cultural aware.

  • Able to work autonomously, with highly developed business acumen and commercially aware.

  • Excellent communication skills to interact successfully within your network.

  • Integrity, loyalty and transparency - clear reporting of business activity.

  • Consultative style, enthusiastic and good attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills to effectively achieve business objectives.

  • Excellent relationship building skills internally / externally.

  • Self-motivator and team player.

 

Salary

Competitive basic salary / no commissions / end-of-year bonus.
